Aerial Ropeway Couplings
All types of ropeway fittings can be manufactured in materials to meet varying loadings, and customers’ particular requirements and specifications. The method of securing the rope to the attachment can be by means of cones and wedges (the “dry” type of fixing) or by white metalling or by resin fixing.
Our standard range of fittings covers all rope diameters from 14 mm (9/16”).
Intermediate Couplings
This type of coupling, which is specially designed to allow free passage of the bucket wheels over it, is used for joining lengths of track rope in new installations, and for the introduction of new rope where required in existing ropeways.
