Lifting & Manoeuvring Attachments - Type UF Glands
This gland is used for the lifting and manoeuvring of all types of ropes during installation and maintenance, for guide rope tensioning and many other purposes.
The gland casing is fully machined from the solid in steel to EN10025 Grade S355, while the interlocking wedges and two bolt clamps are machined from steel to EN10025 Grade S275. The shackles and pins of high tensile steel to BS 3032: 1958.
All glands are proof load tested to twice the safe working load followed by non-destructive examination.
